I'm operating under the assumption that oaths mean nothing to Obama (taqqiya, you know), so he isn't hiding anything there.

As for commemorative parties, there's two things going on--first is Haiti: it wouldn't look good for another opulent party; second is Massachusetts: not an opportune time to be whooping it up if it goes as predicted. Further, there's White House parties every few days anyway. One will be happening soon enough.

Yes and where are the MSM retrospectives about Obama’s first year in office. The last time he had a formal press conference was July 22, 2009. I guess we will have to wait until the SOTU address on January 27, 2009 to list his wonderful accomplishments. No Obamacare bill will be passed by then.
