Responding to the victory in Massachusetts by the Republican, Scott Brown, Senator Jim Webb, Democrat of Virginia, is calling on Senate leaders to suspend any votes on the Democrats’ health care legislation until Mr. Brown is sworn into office.

In a statement, Mr. Webb, who voted for the health care bill in December, congratulated Mr. Brown on his victory and said he looked forward to working with him. But he also said Democrats must take note of the wider implications of the election results.

Sounds like a lot of “moderate” Democrats see the writing on the wall.

As I mentioned on another thread, it looks like Senator-elect Brown may be on his way to fulfilling his campaign promise to stop this mess of a bill.

Why does Obama strike out when he drops everything and makes special efforts to do something?

1. He went to Copenhagen to win the Olympics for Chicago.
2. He campaigned for Deeds in Virginia.
3. He campaigned for Corzine in New Jersey.
4. He went to the global warming conf. in Copenhagen.
5. He campaigned for Martha Coakley.

He has trouble closing the deal when things hang in the balance.

And now he wants to double down on Obamacare? I wonder if Democrats will run away from him? We’ll see........

He said if he won, he was driving his truck to Washington.

Harry Reid said that the paperwork has to be in order for Senator-elect Brown to be admitted to the Senate. I wonder if he will drag his feet on that.

Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid just lost all the “blue dogs”, swing state, independent and other Democrats who’d like to keep their high-paying gigs.
R.I.P. ObamaCare!

Query though... will we now see the iron hand of the marxist trying to operate without the support of his party? He already has his parallel government....
