Ok. You’re young as you state, and you’re passionate. I get that.

I hadn’t read all your posts, only the one to which I responded - but I did read other replies to your #10, and frankly I don’t see the hostility.

Like I said, you’re passionate - but from where I stand, you’re way ahead of the game. As the greatest Man of the 20th century said, “anyone at age 20 who is not a liberal has no heart; at age 40 who is not a conservative has no brain” (Winston Churchill).

You’ve got both, and are about 15-20 years ahead of the curve towards enlightenment.

It's been a long, grim slog to this point, and it sure as hell ain't over. But as the tide turns, a spot of grateful, well-earned jubilation is just the thing to refresh our spirits and strengthen our resolve.

As we gear up to deal with what comes next, another remark by that portly fellow with the brandy and cigars comes to mind: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
