Do you mean Liebowitz who is so ashamed of his Jewish heritage that he changed his name to Stewart? John Wayne and Bob Hope too. I guess that was why they changed their names.

John Wayne was Presbyterian. I don’t know about Bob Hope, although he was probably Anglican. Hope did not change his name. His name was Hope. Bob was a nickname.

Huh? "Marion Morrison" is a Jewish name? Who knew?
And I'm pretty positive (99+%) that Bob Hope isn't (wasn't?) Jewish either!
