I sit at home a lot. I am disabled and the PC’s are for my amusement and function. One holds love Nexrad weather (my-cast.com), the big monitor is my Firfox browser, The others are for Amateur Radio. One controls the radio and interfaces with software that allows me to turn antennas etc from my keyboard, and the last one is a County emergency operations center where I volunteer. Anything coming into the FiOS connection can be put up on a 57” Mitsubishi with Verizons Media Manager. THe most important part of my man cave is the Beermeister :)

Very cool! Thanks for filling us in. I want to get a good portable SW radio; a survival radio. What would you suggest.

Well there are several ways to go. Do a search on Emergency Radios. There are several models from different manufacturers. Eton is sold by Radio Shack and would do quite well. It kind of depends on how much you want to spend.
