Right. Better to have a Jefferson in congress than a 'RINO'. Duh.

What is the value in getting rid of this guy? We have zero chance in that type of district with any other type of Republican. I can understand getting rid of the McCains, Grahams, and even the senators from Maine. But I just can’t see any harm in having him there (versus a straight-line democrat, which is the only other option).

The voters in his district will take care of that this fall.

While I am not pleased with Cao’s position, it appears that he is the rare politician that is doing what they all should be doing ... REPRESENTING the majority opinion of his district. It is the politicians that go to DC and ignore the will of their constituents while bowing to their party leadership that need to be turned out.
