It’s fine to help BUT why do would want hundreds of thousands of Haitians here and WHERE’S THE MONEY COMING FROM?
Obama money!
Let the occupation begin!!!!
They have their work cut out for them. Port au Prince harbor
was a mess long before the quake. It will take a long time and only God knows how much money to make it usable.
I can understand it takes time to move things and rescue and feed people. What I don’t understand is why these orders weren’t signed last week.
"Barack Obama doesn't care about black people."
Well, you know damn well if Bush was still in office, that's what they would be saying.
Good - get the port cleared, load ‘em up, and send them to Senegal who has offered land for any and all who come - as a new and fresh start. Haiti is an armpit. Better to evacuate and let nature flush the toilet.
amen, just bulldoze the place and let the rats have it. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to stay in such a hell hole on earth. At least in Senegal they can farm the land and feed their families.
I agree - ship off all the DemocRATs... that is what you were saying...
We don’t want people who are unskilled and uneducated to come. Haitians who have those skills have prospered in the U.S. But, by building up the country so it’s merely poor and not gateway-to-Hell poor, we discourage emigration in the long run.
Anyone know the name of the ship and where it is based?
I tried looking through Navy and DoD websites and could find no further info besides this. No name etc. Sorry.
The only people who can raise Haiti to "poor" from "gateway-to-Hell poor" are Haitians. WE CAN'T DO IT FOR THEM.
