Republican John McCain helped turn Sarah Palin into a household name during last year's presidential campaign. Now she is returning the favor.
Palin, the former Alaska governor who was McCain's vice presidential running mate last year, will campaign for McCain's re-election bid as a senator from Arizona in March, the senator said in a statement on Wednesday.

I hope this is not true.
With all due respect to Sarah , I hope McKennedy looses his RINO BUTT.
What an idiot, what a RINO lover waaaaaaah. /s
He put her on the map what do you expect? Haters here just want to use it as an excuse to trash her. I think FR is starting to rival Huffpo for anti Sarah sentiment. Which is fine but certainly interesting.
Keep your friends close. And your enemies closer.
Ready to lead all Republicans.
On a professional level, she owes this to him. Based on her own policy statements, I’m sure she disagrees with much of what McCain has done, but there’s probably a bit of personal loyalty there. I really don’t fault her for this.
I agree, but a part of me says to reflect on this awhile. What a way to show up those in the McCain campaign with such a generous gesture.
Or am I way off base here?
Just askin
I like Sarah but I’m still voting against McLame in the primary. ( With the pleasure I was denied the last time that vote came around! )
Not me, babes. I love her.
I just hate, despise, and otherwise f*rt in the general direction of McKennedy.
Still support her but...bad decision by Palin.
Keep your enemies close.
Great insight, boss.
Ok all we have this “story” this morning from 3 “sources”:
1. Politico
2. CNN
3. Wash Post
are ANY of these “conservative?
Do you think that ANY of these would like to divide consevatives?
Think about it?!
McCain brought her to the national stage. It is the right thing to do, if he asked her to campaign for him. At least this time she can do it on her own terms, using her own words.
I know this will cause many Freeper’s head to explode but it makes sense. If she runs for president she cannot win the nomination or the general election without the support of the whole party, independents and the so-called Reagan Democrats. Burning her bridges with McCain would be counter productive. Smart move...
The more time McCain spends with Sarah, the smarter he will get.
Let me see. You take all the positives of Sarah then you add the loyalty to McCain and subtract the fact that he’s a jerk. I still see overwhelming positive value. She may actually drag McCain to the right!
McCain needs to be defeated in the AZ primary.
Confidential to Sarah Palin: George W Bush was loyal to his people, even past the point where the loyalty was no longer deserved. Please don’t repeat the same mistake. John McCain failed you in oh so many ways. I do not believe he is worthy of your support.
While I understand why she’s doing it and therefore will not hold it against her, I hope J.D. Hayworth enters the primary and beats McCain’s butt.
