You’re correct. Benator is just backpeddling to try and save himself. It won’t work. He has already sold his soul despite complaints from Nebraskans. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Revolution started yesterday and we won’t forget Benator’s disregard for what the people wanted.

Fed up? Sure, like some bloated cruise passenger waddling away from the dining room. Like a fat little baby pig who has been snarfing at the government trough.
No, Sen. Nelson, it's we who are fed up with you.

"Clearly, the vote showed that people are frustrated with Washington...and I am too," Nelson said in a statement. "That frustration will likely register across the board for all incumbents. The overriding message from yesterday is that people are upset because is dysfunctional and not working together for them."Your getting close, 'Big Taxpayer Bucks' Ben. Try disgusted with Washington and on the verge of revolt.

Centrist [sic] Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) said Wednesday that he -- like voters in Massachusetts who elected Republican Scott Brown -- is frustrated with Washington. Sheesh he thinks that we're stupid.
Nelson is such a snake.

Nelson finally realizes his mistake: he should have held out for tax exemptions for Nebraska... and a truck.

Self-delusion is not pretty. These liberals keep telling themselves this, and they believe themselves. Even though they know they lie all the time.
It’s pretty bad when you lie, you know you lie, and then when you lie to yourself, you believe yourself.

Too little to late. You had your chance and the door is now closed. We never knew you.

I’d like to know where the “pizza” incident happened. I would gladly patronize the place since it sounds like my kind of people eat there.

Thanks Ben, you had an opportunity to keep this horrible bill from being voted on but you sold your soul - the Devil owns your vote now and he rarely allows you to buy it back.

This lying sack of $hit &$!@#! He went along with all this crap hand in glove! He even cut sweetheart deals screwing the rest of the country! When will Nebraska vote this bum out of office?

Washington is dysfunctional and not working together for them. This sentence is the problem in a nutshell. These people think they can just say they're mad too and it's going to be OK. No Ben, we don't want you working together, we want you to LISTEN to us. We told you we didn't want your health care bill but you didn't LISTEN, that's why we're mad.
YOU work for US! You've forgotten that, we're just reminding all of you.

This reminds me of Tommy Boy (I think) where Chris Farley breaks the driver door at the gas station and jimmies it back on the hinges. Then David Spade pulls on it and it falls off. Chris Farley asks “what’d you do?”
