Since the designer announced it and showed the photo I suppose there’s the chance that they gave her the outfit. THAT boggles my mind, it does.
Unless they changed the law, she isn’t allowed to accept such gifts. The democrats came down on Nancy Reagan for accepting apparel gifts, so the law was extended to the White House.
I agree. Designers want them to wear their clothes so they get seen.
