The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said Rush Limbaugh reached a new low with "borderline anti-Semitic comments" on his radio show, in which he raised the possibility that liberal Jews were having "buyer's remorse" with President Obama in light of the outcome of the Senate election in Massachusetts.
Limbaugh told his listeners: "To some people, banker is a code word for Jewish; and guess who Obama is assaulting? He's assaulting bankers. He's assaulting money people. And a lot of those people on Wall Street are Jewish. So I wonder if there's – if there's starting to be some buyer's remorse there."
Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, issued the following statement:
Rush Limbaugh reached a new low with his borderline anti-Semitic comments about Jews as bankers, their supposed influence on Wall Street, and how they vote.
Limbaugh's references to Jews and money in a discussion of Massachusetts politics were offensive and inappropriate. While the age-old stereotype about Jews and money has a long and sordid history, it also remains one of the main pillars of anti-Semitism and is widely accepted by many Americans. His notion that Jews vote based on their religion, rather than on their interests as Americans, plays into the hands of anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists.
When he comes to understand why his words were so offensive and unacceptable, Limbaugh should apologize.
I wish the ADL would get as feverishly exorcised about the Obama administration's relentless, anti-Semetic undermining of the Jewish state of Israel as it does going after those like Rush who has knocked himself out for decades defending this tiny Middle Eastern state against the barbarians at the gate.

So this Abraham Foxman overlooks 0bama’s demands for Israel to cease building in it’s own capital Jerusalem. Palestinians can live in Israel, but Jews can’t live in the west bank. Next thing we will here is Netanyahu is an anti-Semite because he doesn’t support 0bama.
If Foxman wants to look for anti-Semites, he can find them near 0bama. The adminstration features kapos like Axis-rod and the ballerina. J street is close by along with ties to Palestinian terrorists. What about 0bama’s envoy Mitchell and his threat to cut off US loan guarantees?
Question. Is Foxman a real Jew or just a slimy kapo liberal?
Rush has always defended Israel and the Jewish people.
This is yet another ploy to prevent honest discussion of issues and facts.
I don't understand why many Jews seem to love totalitarian governments either, but it's a valid issue and Rush was discussing it. There was no disrespect expressed or implied!
My respect for people who pull this kind of crap is fading fast, I may yet become a racist antisemitic if it doesn't stop!

The ADL has devolved into another participant in the Grievance Industry. And Foxman has too much time on his hands. He needs to get a life.

Recently, it was found that advanced optical sites now common on the rifles of US military people featured short, coded references to the Bible. Even though these are men who have to contemplate their chances of death, I’ll conceed that might not have been a prudent thing to put on the sites.

I checked, of the 5 biggest banks one has a Jewish CEO. The others are of Irish, Greek and Indian ethnic origins along with what appears to be a generic WASP type dude. The Irish traditionally had a pretty big presence in New York banking.
As a Jewish conservative I find the Arab Defense League sickening. I hope that Foxman putz of all putses drops dead. Rush has been the biggest advocate for Israel over the airways during the past 20 years and these ungrateful communist self hating ultra secular humanists have the nerve to condemn Rush in the name of Jews!?

The Left is anti-semitic. The Right tends to be philo-semitic, and pro-Israel all the way.
Rush is one of the good guys, so the bad guys are always going to try to find something to shriek about. Its what they do. It wouldn’t matter what he said, they are going to shriek.
One of the things he didn’t pick up on, though, is that O’s administration is chock full of bankers and Wall Street guys. He’s not against banks. He’s taking them over. He’s going to own them.
I listened to that segment and they are crazy to say this.

The ADL won’t make headlines by saying “Rush is right.” so they make headlines by screaming “Rush is antisemitic!”
Like the man said “As long as they spell your name right.” It’s all about getting time in print.
Foxman does it again, speaking for no one but fellow-traveling liberal Jews, he deliberately misconstrues the point of the commentary which is to say that Obama is trying to stir hatred of Jews, many of whom DO work in Wall street (does he think “Goldman Sachs” were episcopalians?) and Obama, not Rush is exploiting the stereotype aspect of this association of Jews with the word “bankers” when used euphemistically.
What a putz.
I realize that like the other racial division hate groups, you have to work long and hard to stir things up, in order to keep your finances rolling in, as well as calling attention to yourself. At one time the ADL, much like the unions and the NAACP did wonderful things. But over the years, these groups have morphed into nothing more than leftist front groups shilling for hard left nut cases. As a Jew, I have to search long and hard to find a Jewish charity to which I'm willing to give. B'nai Brith has been a no-go for me for a very long time. I will not give any money to groups like these, simply because they all dishonor the original wonderful things these groups did many years ago.
