She is stunned? Please lady, don’t sound so naive. People stopped being stunned by Specters arrogance around 1966.
Specter’s outburst reminds me of another PA Dem politician, John “Fat Jack Murtha.
Looks like they both may suffering from senility.

Can you imagine if that was a republican that said that to a dem woman?

Don’t know how he’s faring against his democrat challenger.

Arlen Spector, like every Democrat, has to be defeated come November 2nd.
Who’s the politician that lost the most with Brown’s victory: Arlen Specter. He sold himself to the highest bidder, but now he is worth nothing to anyone. Bitter, bitter fate.

Rep. Bachmann missed an opportunity to nail spectre. When the senator said, "Prosperity wasn't a bill." Bachmann should have responded, "Well thanks for admitting Senator that the democrats have offered no plan for America's prosperity."
Her response was better.
So, Pelosi is targeting Bachmann in the next election? The Democrats are going to pour money into that district to defeat her.
Republicans need to make sure they don’t succeed.
Specter is dead in the water in Pennsylvania. First of all, Joe Sestak (friend of the Clintons) will probably beat him in the rat primary, and even if not, Toomey is 9 points UP on Specter in the last poll I saw.
Specter cut his own throat when he sided with the rats on the first “stimulus bill” ($zillion$ giveaway to rat special interests) in February 2009 and then had to switch parties before he was effectively kicked out by the Republicans. (Polls showed Toomey would destroy him in a Republican primary.) That scumbag made his own bed. Now his career is nearly over.
Just thought it was a pithy retort to a mouthy gasbag.
