Like fish hawk said they own the Times-Standard here in Eureka and 2 or 3 weekly papers in the smaller towns around here. The staff of the T-S is some 20 and 30 year old kids and they struggle to put out a coherent daily paper and the most offensive content is the environmental stuff and the letters to the editor are real whack jobs.

Tube. I was watching the local news here on Maui awhile ago and they mentioned that they ran two poles recently on Gay Marriage and they both showed the people are against it. So guess what? Today the state legislators decided they were going to put it up on the menu paying no attention to the majority of their constituents. All I can hope for now is that these idiots get Coakley’ed at the next election.
