Down syndrome is not a genetic disorder. The media keeps calling it genetic, causing people to worry unnecessarily that it runs in their family.
Well, Down Syndrome IS actually “genetic”. It happens when the “Genes” of a person, contains extra “genetic material”...an extra chromasome.
It is correct to call it genetic.
