Today is the first anniversary of President Obama's urgent executive promise to close the Guantanamo Bay terrorist detention facility by today.
He didn't get that done.
No new promised date either.

ITA. Outlawing the slaughter of unborn children would be an intrusion into the privacy of Americans, but taking over healthcare, requiring everyone to carry health insurance, fining those who do not...that’s not an intrusion. How bent do you have to be to actually believe that?

My mother grew up in Nazi Bavaria. To this day she will not speak of the horrors but only of the good things like the Autobahn. My grandfather would not join the Nazi Party so you can imagine what the family went through.
