End of O's cowardly lyin'
NY Post ^ | January 24, 2010 | Michael Goodwin

We the people of the United States owe Scott Brown's sup porters a huge debt of gratitude. They didn't merely elect a senator. They ripped the façade off the Obama presidency.

Just as Dorothy and Toto exposed the ordinary man behind the curtain in "The Wizard of Oz," the voters in Massachusetts revealed that, in this White House, there is no there there.

It's all smoke and mirrors, bells and whistles, held together with glib talk, Chicago politics and an audacious sense of entitlement.

At the center is a young and talented celebrity whose worldview, we now know, is an incoherent jumble of poses and big-government instincts. His self-aggrandizing ambition exceeds his ability by so much that he is making a mess of everything he touches.

Sorry but it is not the end, it is only the begining. A cornered animal is far more dangerous & reckless.

Look for the lying to go to EXTREME levels.

Goodwin really does a great job tagging our fearless leader for what he is. You would have thought it would have taken more than a year to get to the point we are at right now, but I'm not complaining.

As the dems realize what they have gotten themselves into it will be fun to watch the chaos.

Look for the lying to go to EXTREME levels.

It is interesting for me to realize that the man could completely redo himself in the image of a respected President, if he had a staff able to make him look good, by advising him using principles acceptable to real Americans, and able to properly educate the youngster on just how one could lead with persuasion, and humility. I suspect he doesn’t have a clue where to start.

The Chicago way or NO WAY. One could say he has been very poorly served, by equal portions of staff and self.

Actually, I think Obama’s real program is starting to emerge, and I don’t think it’s entirely attributable to his naivete and personal instability.

I have always felt that Obama and the radical left that has taken over the Dem party were in a marriage of convenience. They thought he had the personal figurehead powers to get their programs through, since most of them are grubby, unattractive figures (see Barney Frank) who would have trouble building the socialist man myth that they need to get support for these programs under our system. He, on the other hand, saw himself riding their power base to get what he had always wanted, absolute individual power to take his revenge on the US and the West in general.

Make no mistake. This isn’t innocent stupidity on his part. He may not be very smart, but he doesn’t have to be. He is an irrationally hate-filled person who has created a self-definition and a persona fashioned from bits of Muslim African thug-dictator, bits of Hugo Chavez (who also considers himself black and presented himself as the great hope of blacks in Venezuela), and bits of the programs of Mao and Pol Pot.

I think we’re going to see increasing conflict between his personal project and the ideological project of the extreme left. They created this monster in their very own lab, and now it’s turning on them.

“Goodwin really does a great job tagging our fearless leader for what he is.”

Goodwin is also a good guy. It’s been my experience that you have a 50/50 chance that he will send a reply if you pop him an e-mail re one of his articles.

Exactly. The next twelve months will be the most dangerous yet.

This would assume the people on his staff understand principles acceptable to real Americans. Since Obama picks his own staff, this would be a huge assumption. If you have read Dreams or looked into Obama’s background at all, you would know that the people he associates with would not understand such principals.

In short: Wasn’t ever going to happen, had no chance of happening.

Not with the present staff, which was my point precisely.

Obama turned an interesting phrase in the Ohio town hall earlier this week that I had never heard him say: “As long as I have breath in this body”... I wonder if he is ill from an undisclosed disease.
