Our next challenge will be to catapult J.D. Hayworth into McGeezers seat while not trampling on Sarah.

She chose her side. She will have to live with it.

AZ battle could get bloody. If McCain loses, Palin loses, too. If McCain wins, Palin could come out the loser [assuming she political ambitions].

[Regrettably, I think McCain will win, because it is tough to beat incumbency, especially from someone within the same party. Too many owe too many IOU's to McCain.]

Perhaps a little tight rope walk will be in order for a few conservatives here including Sarah.

She may make an appearance or two for McGeezer just to pay back her entrance to politics on the national scene.

If she goes "beyond a few" she's in trouble. If not she O.K. and everyone will understand why she appeared for him.

There is phrase that is making the rounds here that says:

Sarah is a better man than McGeezer.(And she is)

Don't forget the New Media nationalized the "Scott heard round the world". We can do it for a card carrying member JD Hayworth as well!!

In addition, we can make it very costly for the RNC/GOP to endorse or fund McGeezer and they already know it!

TomGuy,

Using past conventional wisdom one would be inclined to agree with the incumbency statement but that all goes out the window this time with the TP people owning the numbers as recent polls have shown. TP folks love Sarah but are wise to selling their support to a person rather to ideas.

I honestly feel Sarah’s chit was called in by McCain in order to seal the deal of intimidation against JD but a funny thing McCain forgot from his days in the Hanoi Hilton; principles matter, even more so today.

Now that JD is on his way to formally entering the race, McCain’s plans have fizzled and Sarah will have two choices to make on her principles. Continue support for the one or continue support for the many. IMO she has two weeks to decide before her keynote address before the TP Convention.

Did McCain ask for Palin’s support as a devious way to put her out of politics.

Clearly his wife and daughter hate Sarah and her values.

I disagree. Palin is not irrevocably tied to McCain as so many here have tried to paint her.

She’s returning a favor and will not espouse any views she doesn’t believe in in the process.

I am pleased to see that McCain has a conservative opponent. This will flush out Hannity and expose him for the phony that he is. He is one of McCain’s two lapdogs, Lindsey is the other one. Now he is forced to back McCain against a conservative. I am going to enjoy listening to Hannity twist himself into a corkscrew as the tries to walk a razor line justifying his support for McCain. Let the fun begin.
