The White House is moving regional communications director Amy Brundage to the main press shop, where she will replace spokeswoman Jen Psaki, White House officials said.
Brundage, who was Midwest communications director for the Obama campaign, starts her new job Monday as an assistant press secretary handling day to day economic issues and other issues to be determined.
Psaki was recently promoted to deputy communications director.
Brundage has worked for President Obama since his time in the Senate, where she served as his press secretary. She also worked for Sen. John Kerry
