Well, we’ll find out, won’t we? A good healthy primary will usually show who is best suited for DC.

Yeah but it means more money being spent in the primaries and less money available for the general.

Don’t know yet, he’s the only one making noises loud enough for anyone to hear. I would imagine he would snuff out any competition pretty quick.

Well, that’s the way it goes. If they’re not capable of raising enough money then they aren’t right for the job.

Gorman has already announced. And she was kicked out of leadership in the senate because she didn’t agree with Brewer’s tax increase against the state senate leader.

Well then let her make her case in the primary. That’s what they are for. We’ll listen to her and we’ll listen to the mayor and make our decision after that. I’ll be interested in finding out who John recommends as well. He knows what the job entails and will let us know which one he thinks will be most effective.

Gorman has a strong conservative record in the state senate. She resigned from her 3rd highest seat in the state senate seat against the leader in the state senate.

What part of let her make her case in the primary don't you understand?

Are you one of those people who think WE don't have a right to make our own decisions, that our candidates should be picked for us by the PTB?

If she's any good, she'll win in the primary, but she has to get out there and make her case.

And you being on this thread trashing anyone who is against McCain is certainly not going to help her.

I’m not trashing JD. I just think it would be better served by the Republican party if he tried to defeat Mitchell intead.

You look at Jim’s posts. We discussed this. We have no conflict.

Onyx says she/he knows all the Palin supporters and none of them support McCain just because Palin does; but that is not my experience lately with some. I don’t believe Onyx is correct on that. We will have to agree to disagree. If I can find it, I will direct you to the thread where it happened but right now I have to get off the computer and get busy with some family stuff.

Please don’t misquote me. It’s the details that count.

“Yes, I know precisely what you said, and I know almost all, if not all, of Sarah’s supporters here, but I cannot name one who supports McCain because Sarah is lending her support to him and that was your indictment.

A very few people here actually do support McCain and that’s their choice, but they will tell you that Sarah’s endorsement had nothing to do with it.”

(and I pinged sabe@q.com, who said she supports McCain)

“yeah just some troll who has been posting on fr for 10 years”

JR has zotted 8-10 year posters before.

Not such an aberration.

We have a Neo-fascist in the White House.

A Neo-fascist that John Effin McCain said America "doesn't have to fear", another McCain reach-around for his progressive pals.

How does ANY conservative justify voting for a guy who all but endorsed the 0bamunist stooge and his thugs?

“At the very least Joe Arpaio with check-mate Sarah Palin here in Arizona... Sheriff Joe carries a lot of weight in this state no matter how hard the feds and others in Phoenix try to bring him down.”

You are spot on, Carolyn. Joe has about a 70% approval rating here. Only the left is against him.

Not to worry. Considering the mood in the country these days, Hayworth could raise 10 million bucks.
