I've flown EgyptAir and it was as boring as an American carrier. The safety video was quite amusing when it can to the oxygen masks, though -- the video shows the mask falling down and slowly bobbing three times with the middle-eastern man's head bobbing to track it before he grabs the mask.
They must have improved since my experience (early 80's).My flight was on,it would appear,the first 707 ever made.It was dirty,smelly,the upholstery was falling apart and we hit a huge thunder storm somewhere over East Africa that rocked the aircraft something fierce.I honestly thought we were going down.
