The best “initiative” for the middle class would be to stop hamstringing the free market. Not running around with band-aids and handouts.

He ties the maximum payment to the loan receipients wages, so an art history major might never have to use a penny of his McDonald's pay for student loans. Sucks to be you if you were chump enough to get a degree in science, engineering or medicine and have to pay for your full student loan plus increased taxes under Obama.

It seems like he is doubling the child credit. That is sort of a tax cut.
I don’t believe so. It is a “child care” tax credit. I don’t think it is a credit per child, but a credit for the cost of child care.
He’s full of it. All of it.
The article mentioned doubling the child care tax credit. So it is good if you have your child raised in a government approved warehouse while going to work to be able to pay your taxes. Staying at home with the children to raise them in a loving home? Disapproved!
