President Barack Obama will have to scale back his domestic agenda after finishing work on healthcare, one Democratic senator said Monday.
Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) said that Obama would need to ramp down some of his plans in the months ahead if some of the most vulnerable Democrats are to go on to win this fall.

Nelson needs to go in 2012. See ya, bye bye
After they pass healthscam! The man is a nincompoop.
We Florida voters must turn this moron out of office when he comes up for reelection.
CCC - Conspiracy to Commit Corruption.
Remember - he got his backroom deal, which sold out 2/3rds of the state of Florida in favor of Dade and Broward counties
His response to me on this issue.
Thank you for contacting me about health care reform. On December 24, 2009, I voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The bill passed the Senate, and negotiators from the Senate and House are now hammering out a final version. I am confident this final bill will pass and be signed into law in a timely manner
I am pleased with much of what is in the Senate’s bill. It would allow those who are happy with their insurance to keep what theyve got, including veterans and seniors on Medicare. It stops insurance companies from dropping people when they get sick or denying coverage because of pre-existing conditions, and creates State-based exchanges where folks without coverage can find it at an affordable price. Additionally, it contains several measures aimed at reducing overall medical and prescription drug costs and eliminating waste and fraud in the system. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated that the bill as passed by the Senate will reduce the Federal budget deficit by $130 billion over ten years.
Among the improvements I fought for is a provision that will preserve benefits for an estimated 800,000 Medicare Advantage enrollees in Florida, and another provision that will protect tax benefits for seniors who have high medical expenses.
I also introduced an amendment that would force pharmaceutical companies to give rebates to the Federal government for certain drugs purchased under the Medicare Part D program. These rebates would close the coverage gap in Part D known as the donut hole and save the government billions of dollars. I was disappointed that this amendment was not included, but I made clear that when a final version of the bill is negotiated, I expect there to be a mechanism for closing the donut hole.
Regardless of where anyone stands on the specifics, I think we all can agree that the system we have can be unfair and too costly, and needs to be fixed. Although this bill is not perfect, it contains a number of reforms that are necessary if we are to have any chance at expanding access to health care while reducing the cost over the long term. Again, I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue. Please don’t hesitate to contact me in the future.
Sincerely,
Senator Bill Nelson
When is Nelson up for defeat?
I’ve been hammering this dufus with barely civil emails for months, but he’s still comitted to that POS “health care reform” bill. Unfortunately, his seat isn’t up in November.
Give Bill the genius award for stating the minimal obvious. Scale back is not the answer, but rejecting his idiotic notions of rule is-—Americans are not interested in becoming the slaves of a narcissistic american-hating tyrant with barely an average intellect. Send BO to gitmo and let him live with his pig-brothers.
Sorry Mr. Astronut, Dear Reader's agenda has been exposed so you can't unring that bell.
2012
He has Nelson. Obama is ramping down NASA in your backyard.
These Dims are actually dumber than they look! They actually think 0bama’s agenda is liberal rather than socialist. The complete remaking of America including the trashing of the Constitution.
Key word is 'after'. Why don't you [bendover,-16bama, reed, "The" nasty, et-al] folks keep working on "healthcare refore" thru this fall... then you can scale back.
Has anyone noticed that JEB! is starting to make appearances again? His son, George P. just endorsed Marco Rubio last week. Jeb continues to say he is not interested in running for POTUS but a Senate race against Nelson would give us another very interesting election here. Provided a more conservative candidate does not surface beforehand.
I would certainly vote for Jeb if he were the nominee. He would beat Nelson’s skinny azz....
Just for fun;

Awfully cocky, aren't we?
Good idea Rubio and Bush from Fla. Even though Bush is a semi-RINO. We have to get rid of the ignoramous Nelson.
That Liar sent me one saying he was for personal responsibility and the Constitution. What a LIAR!
Bill Nelson voted for the Senate Health care bill, and thus to reduce Medicaire payments and benefits. He should get booted out on his keister by the Florida seniors in 2012.
