It really hurts me to say this, but I think he is 100% right. Right now it sounds like it has turned into a dog and pony show, crafted by dim-bulb politicians and the UN. When our government wants to get the job done it puts a American military man in charge and tells him “get it done”. No United Nations second guesses, and no civilian quarterbacks. Our military, on a relief mission, is second to none. If other countries want to help, we still are running the show. We are good at what we do.

Our military, on a relief mission, is second to none. State Department by statute has the lead on overseas humanitarian operations. The military has absolutely no authority to do anything other than what they are instructed to do by State.
