CA: Less Potent, Yet Troublesome Storm Targets California ( Tuesday Afternoon )

While a storm rolling in from the Pacific Ocean is much weaker than most storms that hit last weekend, it can cause some rain and snow-related problems in California and the Southwest into Tuesday.

Traffic slow-downs and flight delays are expected.

The ground is still saturated over much of the region and in some cases hillsides remain unstable.

Additional rainfall on the order of 1 to 2 inches in some areas can lead to flooding problems and mudslides. Locally heavier amounts of rain on the hillsides are a possibility.

Heavy snow is in store for the mountains. However, snow levels are expected to average higher during this storm compared to the caboose storm last week.

when we get the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS

I flew to Hawaii during a pineapple express and saw clouds headed toward California and parts North as far as the eye could see. Nothing..but..clouds.

This appears to be your typical light CA rain.
Worst part of this would be the crazy drivers and possible slides where the land had fire.

Stay dry and enjoy.

My wife just took a small walk in the rain with proper gear.

Good news, it wasn’t radioactive - THIS TIME.
