Like you, Candor, the scar appears to be jagged, not the result of surgery, but trauma as the result of an accident at velocity. The only surgical explanation that I can find is illustrated above, this boy had surgery to the brain to cure his epilepsy.

This looks exactly like Obama's scar except its on the Right side of Obamas head. What they often due is sever the connecting hanglia between the left and righ hemisphere tio dure epilepsy. That leads to the left hand not knowiing what the right is doing.Dedfinitely an Obama trait.

And also leads to speech impediments like Obamas. I'd say this is a brilliant find and more than a guess.
