Senator McCain’s GOP Challenger Calls For Obama’s Birth Certificate
Mediaite ^ | 1-27-10

fter serving six terms in Congress John David “J.D.” Hayworth returned to the radio booth where he has hosted of a conservative talk show in Phoenix. He recently decided to get back into the political arena, and is challenging incumbent Senator and former GOP Presidential candidate John McCain, with a unique brand of conservative policy and rhetoric. Need proof? While appearing on Hardball last night he told Chis Matthews that, yes, Barack Obama should produce a birth certificate.

When asked by the host if he was as “far right as the birthers?” Hayworth responded, “well, gosh, we all had to bring our birth certificates to show we were who we said we were, and we were the age we said we were, to play football in youth sports…Shouldn’t we know exactly that anyone who wants to run for public office is a natural born citizen of the United States, and is who they say they are?”

The issue of BO’s/BS’s ineligibility continues to grow. It’s not going away.

I question his judgment for going on Hardball.

We might all be cheering for JD about this, but I’m afraid that it’s McCain’s camp who will be cheering in the long run. The birth certificate issue has been so widely mocked, and time after time, a sure lead as to Obama’s real birthplace ends up in flames, that it will be relatively easy for a press sympathetic to McCain to brand him a wacko. Unless JD is extremely deft, this could turn enough people against him.

Excellent. Good on Hayworth.

Matthews is just an ass trying to characterize such a common sense, no frills request as to produce the most fundamental personal documentation as an ‘extreme right’ notion.

What a flaming jackass. Really, there are no words. Matthews is a blind, ‘contemplating his navel’ fool if he does not “get” the hard core reason operating here.

But of course, we know he does ‘get it’...he has sold out, he is a crook, pure and simple, covering with all he’s got for this horrendous poser in the Oval Office.

Tip O’Neill ( that Matthews worked for) must be turning over in his grave...left though he was, he retained some basic shred of integrity.

Matthews is a shrill hysterical prostitute, lost in the land of the lost.

JD went on Hardball and most all other news shows while he was in the House. He's been there before.

It was Matthews who brought it up. J.D. just looked rather bemused and gave a common-sense answer we’d probably all give. He did fine.

Mocked?

Well for God’s sake, then we need to show some balls and take the issue BACK from those we’ve allowed to mock it!

It is and always has been a substantive, fundamental question—that US citizens have EVERY right to know the answer to—without the fashionable incrowd MSM constantly lampooning us for asking.

Their strategy to ridicule and marginalize this has worked like a charm in causing us draw back into our corner and shut up. Why?

Why in the hell do we let these media jabberwocky airheads have this power over us?

Screw them.

Keep up the pressure.

It’s called ‘courage of your convictions’ for a reason. Takes guts and STAMINA.

Nobody ever said the hard stuff was a popularity contest!

I hope you’re right. McCain is running some REALLY snarky ads about JD.

Unless JD is extremely deft, this could turn enough people against him.

Since Hayworth's opponent is not Obama, he should put a finer point on this. McCain submitted his BC amid questions over *his* eligibility, but didn't insist that his opponent receive the same level of scrutiny.

Put these questions to John McCain and his advisors, shine the light on their ineptness (or collusion, take your pick). Don't turn it into a crusade against Obama, just show that McCain was either complicit - or that he got rolled.

This is an issue that would definitely help J.D. win the primary. A third of the Americans don’t believe Zero is eligible, and I’m quite sure that Republicans have a much higher percentage than that.

Not so --

Can you spell "SR511" ???

How come McCain needed an SR511 before he ran for POTUS but Obama didn't???

According to McCain's SR511, Obama is not qualified for the office of POTUS.

This fact should be thrown at McCain at every opportunity.

Hey y'all, just to be clear, IMHO, defeating Obama at the polls is not enough. He and the others in his uppity posse must be humiliated and driven by shame to leave the USA or be prosecuted.  Also in MHO, this will/can be done by bringing to light the very basic credentials we all openly share. The bastard is a true bastard and an ancient curse resides in his genes. But I'm sure I am being influenced by the polls that show a majority of Americans also want the Bastard to come out of the dark and show his stuff.

A majority, 81% of 66,000 AOL members polled in July 09 also thinks he stinks and must be a bastard. LOOK HERE

So what, AOL is just made up of ignorant peasants, just old white shits and are probably "Tea people".

Additional proof of the evil that resides with his every breath is the fact that his "straight from central casting" dog shuns him and his family. Now, just what was the name of the pets that he had for his family in Chicago? There were none! Oh, so now that we pay for him to act all white, he can tolerate having a creature with animal sense in his same area.
