In real life, if this happened in a Muslim-majority area, the response would be a general pogrom against all Christians in the area, where the men would be killed and the women raped. Look up the concept of "dhimmi". A non-Muslim in a Muslim area may not raise his hand against a Muslim, even in self-defense, lest a pogrom ensue.
Hindus have been taking and giving abuse with Muslims for centuries. The same with Sikhs. Christians as well. But the difference is that when they tick off the Sikhs enough, the Sikhs don’t just fight back, they give the Muslims lessons they remember for generations.
Thus while Muslims continue to pester Hindus and Christians, they only mess with Sikhs at their peril, and far less often.
The problem is in attitude. I used to talk to young adults in the US who bitterly hated neo-Nazis, and they were always full of braggadocio about how they would beat them up, and then the neo-Nazis would fight back.
So I pointed out that you don’t fight Nazis, you hang them. Suddenly their arguments fell flat. But I was very serious. If you want to get rid of bullies, you make they afraid for their very lives. While they pretend they are great and strong and unconquerable, when the truth is pounded into their thick skulls that they might get seriously burned, they will either back off or run away.
The same rule applies to these Christians. If even killing Muslims is not enough, then kill them and sew their bodies up in pig skins. It is done to make them afraid.
