In other words, Forget everything you’ve seen us Democrats do over this past year. Republicans made us do it.

“Made-up stuff from Drudge?”

Hard to believe, but I don’t think any one could make up that lobbyist stuff in his style.

Its always about HIM and ME. Its never about YOU and US.

In the excerpts, not a word about shrinking government, cutting back spending or boosting the economy and jobs. It sounds disconnected from reality.

Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests – including foreign companies – to spend without limit in our elections. Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, and worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and that’s why I’m urging Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to right this wrong.

This guy who we are told is a constitutional scholar thinks congress can override the SCOTUS with a bill? I mean seriously, has he ever even read the constitution?

The BIG LIE. Joseph Goebbels would be so proud!
"Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, and worse, by foreign entities."
That statement is all lies.

As Pam Geller wrote back in August 2008 in "Obama's Foreign Donors: The media averts its eyes" -- Obama received thousands and thousands of foreign donations, nearly all of them poorly reported.

Some claim that Obama received many millions from foreign donors -- over $200 million by some accounts.

“Let’s invest in our people without leaving them a mountain of debt.”

1) Let us Invest our own money. Its not yours to invest for us. And you can start by letting us have more of it by giving us a major tax break.

2) Too late for preventing a mountan of dept. Its already a mountain and getting bigger everyday. Pass health care and the new mountain will tower over the old one.

Continuing the Saga of Foreign Donors to Obama...

A reader in Ireland tells me he has successfully contributed $10 to Obama, using a credit card from a foreign bank. I must gently remind this reader that he, and everyone else doing this "experiment" by donating under false names are in fact violating U.S. law. So guys, don't do that.

Having said that, Patrick Ruffini notes:

The ability to contribute with a false address, when the technology to prevent it not only exists but comes standard, is a green light for fraud.

One could understand the oversight if prior to the bogus donor story breaking. But you'd think they would have taken measures to step up their donor security in the aftermath of the revelations. Having AVS turned on would have stopped or significantly deterred the fraudulent donations (or, at a very minimum, made them easily detectable). By turning this basic setting off, the Obama campaign invited this kind of fraud and has taken no steps to correct it.
