Has Obama become bored with being president?
Washington Examiner ^ | 1/29/10 | Byron York

This is about the time Barack Obama becomes bored with his job.

He's in his second year as president, and he's discovered that even with all the powers of office, he can't do everything he wants to do, like remake America. Doing stuff is hard. In the past, prosaic work has held little appeal for Obama, and it's prompted him to think about moving on.

snip

According to the book, the majority leader invited Obama to his office for a talk. "You're not going to go anyplace here," Reid told Obama. "I know that you don't like it, doing what you're doing." Reid suggested Obama run for president. Obama had been a senator for all of 18 months at the time.

snip

As he became frustrated in each job, Obama concluded that the problem was not having the power to do the things he wanted to do. So he sought a more powerful position.

Today he is in the most powerful position in the world. Yet he has spent a year struggling, and failing, to enact far-reaching makeovers of the American economy. So now, even in the Oval Office, there are signs that the old dissatisfaction is creeping back in.

snip

But throughout his life, his reaction to frustration has been to look for a bigger job. What does he do now?

Didn’t Hillary tell us during the primaries that as chairman of a Senate subcommittee, BHO never held ONE hearing ? He became bored doing nothing. Life is tough when you are handed everything because you are a light-skinned, clean, articulate, non-negro dialect speaking guy.

What drove Obama was not just ambition, although he is certainly ambitious. As he became frustrated in each job, Obama concluded that the problem was not having the power to do the things he wanted to do. So he sought a more powerful position.

Wouldn't it have been really, really good to have had this insight before the election?

I'm not blaming York -- because he was one of the few real journalists who actually did any digging.

But the MSM utterly failed to do their job. They committed a conspiracy to defraud the public.

What does he do now?

Hopefully he'll go around the country campaigning for Democrats, whether they want him around or not.

Let's face it. We have got a real loser on our hands.

He's incompetent. He hates the country. And he's the most powerful man in the world.

It's gonna be a tough three years.

I would not be surprised at all if 0bongo decided not to run for a second term. He has many things he could move on to after “serving” just four years. Such as writing his third biography and earning millions doing it. Such as hobnobbing more with JayZee and Beyonce and other rap stars

I heard I think on Rush they are at each others throats behind closed doors.

The top leading Democrats and not those necessarily holding office are up to their ears it how can we rid ourselves of him. They are trying to scheme up some way to get republicans to do it for them. I know Republicans will send up a smoke signal...and tell them he's yours and your problem. When Scott Brown won the election...the Republicans had said...it means game over for the dems. HA. They said they'd become so vicious with each other...so that's what is taking place.

That’s because the only “job” he has is reading off a teleprompter. That’s got to get pretty boring after a while.

“Democratic circles have a whispering campaign going on how can we get rid of this guy before he ruins all of us.”

Similar sentiments posted more than a few times. Like Klintoon he won’t be removed without the Rats help.

Like the Birth Certificate stuff and his own admission he was born in Kenya back when he was running for the Senate. No judge appointed by Libtards will follow the rule of law and rule against him.

They will only ditch his pathetic a** when he is about to drive them all under the bus.

Zero is a post turtle.

They committed a conspiracy to defraud the public.

They have been doing that since Guttenberg invented the printing press.

He’s picked off everyone in Arkansas but Mike Ross, who stood up to Pelosi, and Pryor, who has a lifetime lock because of his daddy.

The top leading Democrats, and not those necessarily holding office, are up to their ears in how can we rid ourselves of him.

They are trying to scheme up some way to get Republicans to do it for them.

Can you imagine the freak-out nightmare these liberals are living through every day? I mean, they put 100% faith and trust in Obama to lead them to their Socialist utopia, and instead, he's leading them into a bottomless pit of oblivion.

What a horror it must have been to sit through Obama's lecture the other night, too scared to break the pc ranks and sit on your hands. They all jumped up and clapped enthusiastically over and over and over again. It's like something you'd imagine happening at one of Stalin's, or Saddam's speeches. No one would dare NOT to wildly applaud every idiotic statement rolling off the Dear Leader's forked tongue, if they valued their lives.

Now, behind closed doors, and in private conversations, they're nervously wondering just what the hell they can possibly do to avoid the coming train wreck.

Obviously, the Republicans are going to put as much distance between themselves and the toxically radioactive Obama as possible, so there'll be little help there. The Democrats made him, and they own him.

The Democrats are cornered. There's nowhere to run. They will have to face the most stunning defeat in American political history this Fall. Expect the Democrats to become nearly psychotic with rage in the coming months. They're going to lash out at our side like nothing you've ever witnessed.

It'll be the last desperate scream of a dying political party.

Oughta be fun, don't ya think?

True power comes from God. The President needs a Jesus moment and come to that fact in his mind and heart. God Bless America, God Bless our Free Republic!
