If you really want to know why we lose, that thread is a perfect example.

Those kinds of threads are still going on. Palin endorses McCain threads, for example.

Agreed. Salt cannot be taken by the grain when dealing with the MSM but by the truckload.

I’m bginning to think the point of this exercise was to seize the video.

What other choice did Landrieu have?

Why did the footage from videocams surrounding the Oklahoma City Building disappear?

A poster said your posts all seemed to have an assumption that O’Keefe was already guilty. I listed those I thought applied. I even gave you credit for ‘not guilty until proven’.

Your comments, though, were along the lines of the assumption that O’Keefe was going to jail. You weren’t giving him the benefit of the doubt. And you don’t have to.

I never said that you stated ‘they were absolutely guilty’.

AND, I don’t consider you in the same category as the others mentioned in that first post about this subject. I only listed your comments, because I wanted to point out that while others might come to the conclusion you were proclaiming guilty without a trial, you really weren’t.

Isn’t that what the lines I posted of yours, show?

BTW-Do you have difficulty with every Freeper who in the past has questioned the innocence of those that have been arrested for a crime?

Nope. Depends on exactly what they say, and who they are condemning.

Since, I am sure if you were to look, there would be thousands of posts throughout the years where posters have suggested that a suspect in guilty of a crime, even though the trial had not taken place.

Yep. Been involved in many of them. Have had some very good conversations with those opposed to my take on the issue, and hopefully profited by what I learned from the debate.

If this is true, O’Keefe and Company are off the hook because if the matter goes to trial, the video will have to be released.

I think the plan is to hold the charges over O'Keefe's head as a way of controlling any further releases he has on ACORN, and to prevent him from any further 'snooping'.

As for the video, unless O'Keefe had it being uploaded to a remote device (such as the guy in the van), then it is already 'gone'. Disappeared, erased, oops we dropped it and it broke 'gone'.

Then it looks like the opposition has a wolf by the ears; it’s not much fun holding him, but they dare not turn him loose.

Also, it knows how much afraid they are of O’Keefe.

She’s probably waiting for another “show me the money” moment to decide which way she’ll jump.

However, to be falsely accused can lead to great things, if you don’t back down!

I hope this young man continues to look into Mary Landrieu’s lack of public concern. As a constituent of Ms. Landrieus, I have tried for months to phone her office on the health care issue. I emailed and received a long blanket email in return explaining Ms. Landrieu’s stand on the issue. I called Washington and stayed on the phone until I finally got a human being from her office and expressed my concerns. Her local offices are impossible to contact. She knows her constituents are against health care but she continues on her path - arrogance is her attitude. I look forward to the day we will finally be rid of her.
