An angry Barack Obama met with House Republicans today at their retreat in Baltimore and attacked them for voting against his very radical and failed economic plans for restructuring America. To their credit not one single House Republican voted for the gigantic Stimulus Bill, the record Omnibus Bill, and the Obama Son of Stimulus Bill. And, only 5 voted for the democrat’s business-busting cap-and-tax bill and only one voted for Obamacare. Today Obama let them know what he thought about their lack of support for his radical agenda.

Obama seems to be under the impression the Pubbies are responsible for the resistance against Obama’s initiatives, when in fact, it’s the constituency that’s given the Pubbies ultimatums concerning representation - it’s the citizens that are against Obama’s policies, not necessarily individual Pubby initiative. This should be obvious to the average Washington observer.
It was politically necessary for Obama to accept the invitation, and it was also politically necessary for the GOP to invite POTUS.
I haven’t been active on FR before, but hope to become more so. I just had to comment on this video. One of the lines BO spoke during his diatribe at the Republican conference really struck me... At 1:35 in, he states, “you guys don’t have a lot of room to negotiate with me”. In relation to his other comments, this was obviously a very thinly veiled threat. It’s become very clear over the past year that this president and or his political hacks have no problem with making threats or putting pressure on the weakest links in Congress in order to push through his agenda.
Also, since when is any party ‘required’ to ‘negotiate’ with the president on legislation? Bottom line, both houses of Congress are supposed to be negotiating with each other, compromising with each other, and, in the end, presenting the president with a bill that is both fair and acceptable to the American people. If they can do that, then, it is his duty to either sign or veto the bill. Thats it. This nation was never meant to be ‘ruled by executive order’. Both parties are letting the administration usurp it’s own responsibilities and duties. It will be to our detriment to allow this to continue... freedom will be lost, and once lost, will never be regained.

He spoke with derision of Bolshevik references. Bolshevik may be technically correct, but the actual reference was to either communist or marxist, not Bolshevik, and are true.
They need to clean his clock. He is losing it and an increase of the pressure on an hourly basis will drive him over the edge. He definitely can’t stand the heat.

Has it occured to anyone......anyone at all, that none of what has been going on would be happening if it were not for Scott Brown's election in MA?
In fact, if the MA seat had gone to the dems, health care would still be the uppermost action in congress, cap and trade would be next, amnesty for illegal aliens would follow close behind that, the SOTU would have been far more severe and mean spirited than it was, taxes would be ready to be raised on the wealthy, and the great chill giver, the one and only islamic muslim-in-chief would never - NEVER - have met with the rinos....never!
