I watched part of this.
All Obama did was blame Bush and not take responsibility for anything and lied about the health care hearings on CSPAN, Lobbyists and too many other lies to count.
The GOP comments after were embarrassing, as if Obama did them a huge favor by taking their questions, even though he didn’t answer any of them.
I would normally agree with you on that point.
But in this video and meeting, he is playing a mean game of chess. He is making his "I'm a reasonable guy pitch" (complete lie BTW) to the public and backing the GOP into the corner in the process.
I hate to say it but if the Republicans and Blue Dogs present don't come out swinging, all the TV watching public is going to hear are Obama's lies (and he is one h$ll of a liar).
He is trying to shift the blame for the economy and healthcare debacle (which no one wants anyway) onto the Republicans and they better watch out.
It is difficult to win at tennis (or any other endeavor) when your opponent cheats and lies about everything so well and so determinedly.
Bottom line: the Republicans need to drive one point home over and over again until it sticks...

I’m not going to argue that he’s particularly smart, but I don’t think his behavior at the SOTU or at this speech demonstrate stupidity. Rather it appears to me to be audacity, arrogance and dishonesty that come screaming out at you from the screen.
I hate when he says “you guys”!
