It really is the right thing to do from the Dems’ perspective. Obama won’t be reelected as it appears today. The rest of the at-risk Rats are jumping ship. When you hear a former Obama supporter say things like “we shoulda picked Hillary” you know it’s pretty bad out there, and there are a lot of those.

Don’t get me wrong, she’s just as bad, but from a Lib perspective, it’s a different face.

Sometimes I wonder if this hasn’t been the plan since the primary. That maybe this is the deal that was struck in exchange for Hillary’s support. Obama will step aside in 2012 and endorse Hillary. She will be able to run as a centrist and once elected step in where Obama stepped out pushing the same radical policies.

I can't help but remember the Firesign Theater comedy routine where suddenly there is a crowd of students, mostly Mexicans, around George Leroy Tirebiter's car and one asks, "You're a white man, Porgie. Whaddya think we oughta do?"

“Just what we need. Another Marxist.”

I’m not so sure. Hillary is more of a classical politician. That is to say, she has no real ideology, nor a strong moral compass. She’s a leftist to be sure, but she will do whatever serves her best. Just like most of the SOB’s in Washington D.C.

Obama is a puppet and an ideologue. Very different, and much more dangerous.

I never listen to Jack Cafferty. I hadn't realized that he is a racist. Clearly he's bothered by the idea of a black man being President.

I have a hard time imagining anyone giving Obama a primary challenge--they would be denounced as racists.

Hillary's actual accomplishments are pretty meager--mainly they consist of helping her husband survive sex scandals. Her one big initiative while First Lady was a failure, and she did nothing memorable as senator. As Secretary of State she seems pretty ineffective--mainly useful to Obama as a fall guy for policies that don't work.

Of course that still gives her a longer list of accomplishments than Obama.

Husseins attempts to destroy the United States and enslave the American people have just NOT been successful enough for Jackie! He probably figures Hillary would have had the 2nd amendment overturned by now!

I hope Hillary’s challenge to Obama is as successful as Ted Kennedy’s challenge to Carter in 1980.

I have wondered similarly...that Hillary since Hillary was running up huge debts that she hung back and let the boy wonder plow ahead, with a pretty good idea that he was an empty suit. i have been telling my wife for ages she will be ready to jump in and say "i told you he wasn't ready...but here I am to save us all"

I gonna go put on my beanie now...

Here’s what I find so sweet.

Hillary can’t win w/o strong black support. If she challenges Obummer she might win the nomination...and alienate a lot of blacks.

Obummer can’t win w/o a strong showing amongst whites. And polls show that he has lost a lot of white support.

The only real chance that Hillary has is if something bad happens to the President that would prevent him from running again. (Death, Illness, Scandal, Double digit unemployment.)

And so he and /or Michelle endorse Hillary.

While she’s employed at State, the Clintons are very good at one thing: rounding up loyalists and dividing the camp. She’s probably at State gathering info with the enemy (Obama) and get him later in the primary.

You’d think Hillary supporters forgave Obowma after all this time? Most of them didn;t even vote for Sotero.

This has all the DNA of Operation Chaos....BUT...Who started it?

Is this a Dhimi diversionary tactic OR, a bona fide panic attack?

How to we capitalize on it?

Fauxbama right now is at best only 50/50 that he won’t face impeachment in 2011, must less the possibility of re-election. IF November goes the way I expect it to, democrats themselves will be drawing up the articles of impeachment and pushing for impeachment in 2011 as they try to save their party from the millstone that is the Fauxbama disaster..

Run, Hillary, run!

A hard fought DemonRat primary in 2012 would have similar results to the 1980 DemonRat primary: the nominee is left bruised and battered. Anyone remember how Uncle Teddy refused to hold hands with Jim-ah at the Rat convention in 1980? The Rats were left divided and discouraged.

The other benefit for us is that the Rats will have to vote in their own primary, and not cross over to vote for a Rudy/Romney/McCain RINO in our primary.
