"If you take a morning-after pill within 24 hours, there is always the argument that the sperm may not have fertilized the egg by then, meaning pregnancy has not yet happened," she told the newspaper. "But if this pill works for five days there is no argument. This is not a contraceptive, it is an abortive agent."

Exactly.

Everytime I read one of these stories I get sick to my stomach.

People have no qualms about pushing a drug concept that was started by the F-ing Nazis.
AG Farben Labs developed the abortion drug as a sterilization drug for Jews.

Why do you think Roussel-Uclef dumped the drug which was the basis for ru486.
In 1990 these sicko drugs were banned from the U.S., but 20 years later the Faascist are back with a “new” abortion drug.

The North Carolina Early Pregnancy Study found a fertile window of five days before ovulation.

This pill COULD be abortifacient, but the five days doesn’t make necessarily make it so. Maybe it’s just better at stopping ovulation than the regular morning-after pill.

As always, more study needed.

Unless there was no fertilization because the woman wasn't ovulating, because of other physical issues with her, because of fertility issues with the man, etc.

In fact, I will speculate that if Ellaone is significantly abortifacient in its action, either preventing implantation or causing abortion of an implanted embryo, it ought to have an effect beyond five days after intercourse, because implantation does not occur until six to twelve days after ovulation.

Not that I think morning-after pills are in general a good thing. Their availability has no effect on pregnancy rates, but may encourage carelessness about intercourse.

Most women taking this “pill” could care less about their bodies. Instead of her reproductive organs being a creator of life...its just a receptacle for any strangers penis.

Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.

I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.

I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.

I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
