You can bet that the F-35 will be delayed, and will upgrades to the M-1 Abrams and Apache systems. Naval and Air Force recruitment will also be slashed, while the US Army will be completely retooled to fight insurgency warfare while ignoring the threat from Iran and North Korea, less Russia or China. This will allow Obama to drastically cut the size of the armed forces in 2011-2012 to placate his base.

I’m getting really tired of hearing folks talk about “unproven” technology. It’s simply not true. The F-22 may not have fought against a frontline fighter, but the technology is proven.

They said the samething about the F-117 before Desert Storm. Afterwards, they wanted to reopen the production line and build another wing. The only reason they didn’t was because the B2 was coming on line and the F-22 was in the pipeline.

Only after the F-22 wipes its ass with an enemy will they stop talking negatively about it. Same with the F-35.

I really am starting to loathe politicians of every stripe.
