Marc Thiessen must have felt as if he was being tortured (in the non-military sense) but held his own. when you have both the moderator and the other side's representative against you,it is tough to keep track of all the misstatements and get back to the points that must be made
He did well. What these leftists don't get and don't want to know about is that we do water boarding quick and clean to get information not to torture
Plus why torture scum like Khalid Sheikh Muhammad when he just might appear in court some day?
The Khmer Rouge, The Inquisition and others have done water boarding in longer sessions to drive the subjects mad plus maybe brain damage is induced from lack of oxygen

and it seems the CIA has only done it three times - and valuable information was obtained.
I hope Theissen continues to fight the good fight, and sells tons of books.

I heard Mark Thiessen on the Bill Bennett show talking about water boarding and why it was so effective. The jihadi’s are not required to ‘never talk’. They’re required to keep quiet and resist until they feel they can’t resist anymore. Thiessen says that terrorists were never questioned while they were being boarded. They were questioned before hand. If they resisted or lied they were water boarded and then in a day or so questioned again. He said most of them only lasted for 2-3 sessions before they felt that they had ‘resisted’ enough. Then they started singing and even bragging about what their plans were.
