A 50 billion dollar pipeline...

From the article:

"The project would stretch as much as 2,000 miles from Alaska and would cost an estimated $30 billion."

Par for the course for you. To accentuate your point, just make stuff up.

Another pathetic Palin-bash from you, Bob. The planning for this pipeline goes back years, long before the current shale gas plays came into being due to improved technology and exploration techniques.

And when are you gonna start acting like a man and leave when the host of the website has asked you? Only liberals stay on someone else's property when the property owner has asked them to go.

I was waiting to see if shale fracture technology was going to sink this project. Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio may be larger gas producers then Texas is, one of these days.

By the time it’s finished, we WILL need it. The US needs secure (domestic) energy supplies, that cannot be interrupted by foreign events.

I love Palin’s conservatism and patriotism! She may very well support McCain out of loyalty and I have no problem with that. And I have no problem with whom she supports with her PAC. There is nothing written that says she has to do everything (or anything at all) according to JIM.

Sarah is unabashedly pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-family, pro-America, pro-constitution, pro-gun, pro-limited government and so am I. And she’s wildly popular among the God-loving, Liberty-loving folks with whom I choose to associate. In short, she’s a refreshing breath of clean fresh air in an otherwise putrid failure of a RINO infested party.

She represents my interests better than any other viable wannabe at this point and if she decides to run, she will have my undivided support!! Romney, the draft-dodging, Big Government, lying statist political whore can KMA!! And your picture does say a 1,000 words, but Bob, unfortunately they’re all about YOU and political whores like you and the results and likely outcome of your slavish, cultish RINOism!!

So you can shove your picture and your RINOs where the sun don’t shine.

Sarah has more guts, talent, ability, patriotism, and sheer determination and love for America and our God-given Liberty than you and Romney and a thousand other RINOS will ever have!

It’s been more than obvious for several years that our pro-Life & Liberty Free Republic has become an embarrassment for you, so why the hell don’t you just take a fricken hike already!!

Shove it, pal.

GET THE HELL OFF FR if you don’t like it, but whatever you do quit your damn whining and pestering good conservative FReepers about your hatred for Sarah Palin!!

It’s beyond sickening.

"A 50 billion dollar pipeline nobody needs?"

Let's stop and work the equation. The pipeline that Palin was pushing was during a time that us conservatives were saying (IIRC) get off the ME teat and let's become energy self-sufficient. Since then, many new reserves have been found regarding oil and gas elsewhere which could make that pipeline defunct.

So, at that time it seemed like a good idea and she even fought the Pubbie Party (which I no longer support), it may prove not as beneficial as once believed because of the new resource findings.

However, as a number of people have pointed out, any new energy development takes time - lots. You're a business man and if you think through the business dynamics costs of oil/natural gas research, regulatory & greenie opposition, construction/development,transport, and ultimate profits takes years.

If you do the slightest research about energy, you will come to the same conclusion. I'm no expert, but I have made a lot of money off energy (CHK and BP) while looking closely at their balance sheets and their future.

However, where I do agree with you is about Palin's support of one of the biggest RINOs in Fedgov, Sen. McCain, plus girly-boy Lindsey. I just hope her rhetoric is more about "supporting from loyalty" Mac than actually "campaigning" for him. If she goes the extra mile to campaign for that old elitist RINO, I will say goodbye to Sarah Palin.

I've watched your articles and posting about Sarah Palin. I believe you to be correct on occassion.

You do know that your are going to be kicked off this board if you keep up your anti-Palin stance? Remember JR's anti-Bush position that he changed?

I have recently gotten major sh*t from JR for not giving the TEA Pary folks their due, even when I admitted they had some influence. JR is a patriot, but he can be very stubborn when you don't agree with his every word.

There is an answer: STATES'S RIGHTS!. We can campaign for our favorites; we can support the Repubican or TEA Parties (which are now fighting amongst themselves); we can file fed lawsuits (one of my long-time options). OR, we can work and encourage our State Governors/legislatures to nullify certain Fedgov mandates.

Do you have a better answer to stop the encroaching marxism? and re-install the Constitutional principles that made this Nation the envy of the World?

Bob, we are facing the biggest challenge we've ever known. You have the big picture. So many just want to follow the small FR picture. Go out, hold signs, have a bullhorn in hand, and protest. Good for them for joining, but they have NO clue on how to affect change.

Last time we talked, you indicated that you're done. You know what? I'm okay with that. So am I - I just want to secure B's and my financial future. However, after reading your posts about Palin, I don't believe you are ready to slip into obscurity. We really need to talk. And I don't mean new organization. Between you and me, we can join those who are making a difference and join those influential orgs. What say you?
