FAIL. What we bash is his lousy RECORD, newbie.
I agree with you though, troll, I don't think it matters where the convention is held. I can't see how it being held in Utah would increase the likelihood of a Romney nomination.
Ah, quite to the contrary, holding the GOP convention in Salt Lake City and ramming Stake President Romney's nomination through there would hold enormous implications for both LDS and the GOP as a whole.
As anyone who knows anything about LDS can tell you, Mormonism is not only an expansionist religion theologically (hence the heavy mission work), but the Church also seeks to expand its already significant political power base all the way to the Presidency.
This has been a goal ever since Joseph Smith tried to do it in 1844, in which he promoted his idea of "theodemocracy."
Simply put, when it comes to LDS, it is IMPOSSIBLE to separate religion and politics since the Church views them as one and the same.
Always has and always will.
I guess I don’t see you shouting warnings about Rudi, Huckabee, and Pawlenty. They are all RINOS’s too, and Huckabee just beat Obama in a poll. Just trying to figure out the common denominator, and it looks like I hit a nerve. Thanks for calling me a troll, it speaks volumes about you.
If this thread has nothing to do with bringing up religion, then explain post #67. Imagine that. That same poster, also was one of the first 5 replies to this thread if I remember. Mmmmmmmm
