President’s ineptness quite clear after a year

What happened to the bright dreams, the hope and change? A year ago, fate handed President Obama one of the most tantalizing political opportunities in history.

His party enjoyed a blowout election. The Republicans were leaderless and devoid of ideas. The Democrats had hefty majorities in both houses of Congress. Obama had stratospheric approval ratings and the support of a nation profoundly fearful of the future.

And then he threw it all away.

“Well, now we know a lot more. The bottom line: He isn’t a good politician.”

He’s an ideologue...it’s the Black Liberation Theology/Marxism, stupid.

All he wants to do is play golf and be spotted at the Duke/Georgetown game last night.

He is inept and dangerous for this country’s health.

And by the way, he must be stopped.

Yeah, but I knew he was no good at first glance, don't I get credit for proper profiling?

Why do people like me have to suffer when idiots elect an idiot?

Obama is a rookie, and was never meant to be Presdident. How in Illinois could he ever have been voted to the Senate?

The scariest part of the entire election process was that people couldn't see that, and actually voted for him. (I still can't get over that...)

It’s simple, isn’t it? It is like that old adage, “Lead, follow, or get out of the way”. He needs to get out of the way!

It was misinformed and underinformed voters.

It’s the Press’s fault. They failed in their primary responsibility to uncover information about the candidate and inform us.

More than just failure, they are guilty of professional malpractice.

It took them a year to figure this out?

Little slow on the uptake there.

So am I. Bad news for Bammy...Missouri is a classic swing state. The middle 80% of the state goes red, while the cities on either side go blue. If he is losing confidence in KC, MO is lost.

Eric the ‘Star’ is so out of touch that they will print almost anything. I stopped buying it years ago. I would not have my obituary printed in that POS.

There is a whole lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth out there on the left today regarding Barry’s incompetence. They all expected the Hope and Change to have brought them government healthcare and union card check by now. In their view anyone who could not deliver with supermajorities in both houses is an incompetent.

"Obama is a rookie, and was never meant to be Presdident. How in Illinois could he ever have been voted to the Senate? "

He's from Chicago, remember.

The press smeared his opponent, using claims from his ex-wife, late in the campaign and turned it for him.

The only election Obama ever ran in which his camp did not effectively eliminate his opponent-- when he ran for Congress-- he lost.

It was more the fault of the GOP going after the Democratic vote than anything else. John McCain “reaching across the aisle, my friends” in seeking the Hispanic vote with amnesty. Newt and his stupid falling for Global Warming. These idiots tripping all over themselves trying to find common ground with the Democrats on Domestic Drilling, Cap and Trade and Global Warming. Touting the common ground with Democrats as if it was a good thing.

Like I have said before, I am very sorry that Obama won but I never felt the least bit saddened that McCain lost.
