If I remember correctly, Lincoln didn’t get a single vote in most of the southern states.

I have lived in Arkansas. Best wishes to her opponent. But...

1. They don’t call the GOP “The Stupid Party” for nothing.
2. When I lived there, most folks registered Democrat for the primary because otherwise, the wouldn’t get to vote on local issues like the Sheriff, etc. The Republican opponents didn’t count for much.
3. Also, Democrat judges still took a loyalty oath to the Democrat Party.

I hope things have changed a LOT since I lived in Searcy.
