I discovered classical geologic study and love of rocks at a very early age, at the stream down the street. Little did I know that I’d revisit it years later and love it just the same. It’s like history with rocks. And you get to bang on things and get into all kinds of mud.
Have you ever found a beautiful rock and taken it home, only to find when you get home and look at that rock - it’s died!
In my experience sea shells hold their charm away from the beach though rocks smell much better.
