Well sheesh, it’s not like we don’t have three years or so to figure it out.
BTW, DeMint in 2012!

I think a more likely question is, will Obama himself be running in 2012?
To: Sub-Driver
This is stupid ... should Republicans be certain this far in advance?

We’ll be OK as long as we develop a certainty over who should NOT represent the GOP

..but GOP voters still don't know who they want to lead it That is why we have elections with vigorous debate of ideas...

Yea, I vote DeMint. We need a grownup with principles.
To: Sub-Driver
I’m sure Republicans can agree on one thing, WE DO NOT WANT OBAMA OR ANY OTHER PROGRESSIVE!
To: proxy_user
Yup, he may want to move on to Highmaster of the Universe.

"I think a more likely question is, will Obama himself be running in 2012?"Do you really have to run if you have made yourself dictator for life?

Not McCain that’s for sure. His presidential hopes went down in flames and he should not rise up again.

I don’t know yet who the nominee should be, but I monimate Paul Ryan of Wisconsin for VP. I saw him on Kudlow last night and was quite impressed. So far, I like DeMint because he’s the only Senator who has truly been in the forefront fighting on behalf of us. I was also impressed yesterday with Judd Greg. Anyone who dares challenge and call out zero and the administration will get my consideration. No more wimps.

Why not simply have six regional Republican candidates who will rack up a majority of the electoral votes and let the by then majority House of Representatives pick the next president?
