America would not suffer through a total loss of leadership, but the pre-existing President would be reinstated until new elections could be held. In other words President Bush and VP Cheney would return to the Office to lend stability to the Nation.

That is not what the Constutition provides. It provides that if the President Elect shall not have qaulified, the Vice President elect shall serve as President until a President shall have qualified. That in the 20th amendment. The 12th amendment provides that the Congress must select from those who got electoral votes, *for President*. That would mean that John McCain would replace acting President Biden, who would revert to just being VP.

Citizenship is a straw man argument. I accept that he’s a “citizen”. I don’t accept that he meets the constitutional requirements for the presidency. Which is rather a big deal.
