I'd say demeaning his opponents as crazy who call his citizenship into question is the tactic.
Also, there is absolutely nothing insane about wanting to see the proof of his being a natural citizen when it is a qualification for being President via the Constitution of The United States of America.
In the first place he is not a natural citizen if his father is a citizen of another country as that causes him to be a citizen of both countries and thereby not a natural born citizen. Yes, he may be a citizen but is he officially a natural born citizen, no.
Our Founding Fathers did not want anyone to be President who may have good reason to have divided loyalty. We as a nation deserve a President who is whole heartily loyal to our country and our country alone. Our wise Founding Fathers knew single citizenship to this country to be a necessary prequalification to become our President. They knew the danger of having someone like Obama become President. He is living proof that they were absolutely right.
Beyond this, the tremendous effort he puts forth to keep his BC under wraps, for any sane person, strongly suggest that he is doing everything he can do in his power to hide something about his BC. This, for any sane person, strongly suggest that he may be hiding his actual birth records because they prove that he was not born in this country or in the very least something he is dead set on not letting us know about himself. So much for insanity. If it exist the only true insanity is on the part of those who refuse to see the crystal clear obvious.
