“Brown’s whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama’s appointment to the NLRB.”

Big deal! It's not as if Scott Brown drove his girlfriend off a bridge, saved his own ass, and then spent the next day trying to get some political hacks to take the fall for him while the girl was drowning in a few feet of water. That, my dear product of imperfect nepotism, is the joke.

Was Brown really STUNG by Kennedy’s childish comments?

I doubt it.

No, Senator Scott Brown’s top strategists is backing the challenger of Patches in RI. Diminish Patches is the name of the game.

You have to make allowances. He’s a Kennedy, and he’s stupid.

There was talk of naming the uni-health bill after Ted K
but now Kennedycare is known more accurately as Obamacare.
Ted’s “legacy” is that the bill is squashed for now, plus
a Republican takes over in Ted’s place!

You're off the list for one of my daughters!

Senator Scott Brown’s daughters Ayla and Arianna Brown,
and at least one is available, as the Senator has stated.

“mean spirited” is a term for sissies.

Yes, but in the Alinsky playbook, you use the language of your opponents against them.

We must understand. When a Kennedy speaks, it’s: 1) liquor, 2) stupidity, or 3) random words...or 4) 1 and a combination of 2 and 3.

Kennedy is just mad as hell that Brown is a senator from Massachusetts, which despite Ted’s stain on the office, will alwyas be more prestigious than a representative from puny Rhode Island. Kennedy ran in a pissant state because despite the cache (among the ignorant masses) of his surname he was afraid to run where there might be some formidable opposition.

A stung U.S. Sen. Scott Brown

Rhetorical BS. Brown would only have been "stung" if Kennedy's comments had any basis in reality. It sounds more like Kennedy was "stung" by Brown's victory and what it portends for "Patches."

With all due respect....

NO HE SHOULDN’T HAVE.

If we have learned nothing from George W. Bush it’s that failing to defend yourself/remaining silent in the face of lies and mean-spirited...DOES NOT GAIN YOU ANY RESPECT.

Defend yourself at every turn and call them down for the nastiness.

I admire the guy and hope the rest of the pubs don’t teach him proper Repub behavior is remaining silent in the face of any criticism, playing the game with a different set of rules with a smile, living with unfair double standards, keeping all hairs in their appropriate places and nails polished, stay in the tanning booths as long as required and most important of all...ALWAYS REACH ACROSS THE AISLE.

We don’t know the tone he used, he could have said it in a mocking sarcastic way, at least I hope so.

I agree - “mean-spirited” is too politically correct. He has to remain polite, however, so he should have called him a juvenile jack-ass.

Hey, Patty Boy, what does it say about your side if a “joke” candidate was able to beat it?

Get someone to explain that question to you.

I agree 100%. Every Republican needs to call out every Democrat every time they make an outrageous statement, which is every day. Sitting back and hoping the media notices what a well-behaved gentleman you are does nothing. If you didn’t learn it from GWB, you should have learned it from McCain. You can be the Media’s favorite Republican for 10 years, and they will still brand you as a foaming-at-the-mouth, right wing extremist when it suits their purpose.
