*** Woman Attacked By K-9 May Sue Jacksonville Fla SO ***

See. That article proves my point. They report on it when it happens, not when a lawsuit is filed months later.

Trust me, if this attack did occur it would have been big news in the Chi area. They report on every Dog Attack and surely wouldn't have blown off a K-9 Dog doing it at a show.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc

Does not prove a thing in this case and to define your argument based upon such, diminishes your point.

You post faster than I can type.

I just think this ladies story is hooey and she's looking for a big pay day.

Any K-9 attacking a civilian would have been all over the Chicago airwaves and print. The MSM here are not exactly Police friendly.

Thanks. I might have a look at a wolfhound sometime, when we’re way down in the city. They seem to be magnificent according to information about them around the Net.

We have malamute-Swiss-Belgian-shepherd mixes, because most other dogs won’t protect livestock, haul little loads of tools, feed or materials (over the high, hardened snowdrifts here) and withstand the extreme cold (most of the year) well enough.

There’s no personal concern around my remote place about police attack dogs or pit bulls. The police are our friends and neighbors (dogs only for sniffing out bad stuff), and pit bulls wouldn’t last long (extreme cold, bullets for defending livestock). But I’ve lived in cities before and remember the environments full of irritations and harassments from rude, crude characters and incompetent municipals. ...hoping that you all make it through the possible times to come alright.

...grew up down on the Gulf, too, way back when. ...too hot, flat and crowded for me, but most of the people were great.
