So they can come across if they don’t look like they are a member of the drug cartel? What about the millions that are already here and live in Wharton and everything south as well as sanctuary cities of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin?

“So they can come across if they don’t look like they are a member of the drug cartel?”

No, and IIRC Medina said in one of the debates that anyone coming across the border should come thru a narrow window & that they should not be allowed to cross the border if they are coming over illegally

“What about the millions that are already here and live in Wharton and everything south as well as sanctuary cities of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin?”

My personal opinion is they should be deported

1) it is my understanding that scotus has ruled time & again that it is not punishment to send some one back to the country where they belong

2) It is my understanding we Citizens of the USA are responsible for the USA only

3) my position is that it is a compassionate position to send people here illegally back to their own country, because Employers can exploit illegals and the are De Facto slave labor , if our Gov. does not allow them here they can not be treated as De Facto slave labor, we are not responsible for other countries and what they do, that is up to each countries individual citizens

4) to paraphrase the late Sonny Bono

What part of illegal don’t you understand

From www.medinafortexas.com ... here is THE KEY to the understanding of, and the solving of (even more from a “solving” standpoint than border enforcement which is of course REALLY important too), the illegal immigration problem.

“With our porous borders, we cannot afford yet another incentive for more illegal immigration. Our current federally mandated entitlement programs, which violate our state’s sovereignty every day, serve as a magnet to those in other countries who come to Texas for “freebies”.”

“As governor, I will work for measures to reduce social and welfare enticements for illegal immigration”

What part of illegal don’t I understand??? I understand illegal all too well. My point was that IMO Medina isn’t going to do squat about the illegals except let them all through.
