Signing onto thread so I’ll have a live source in the likely event that my sat dish goes down from the snow.

I'm in the process of getting a new cable provider. Fortunately I have the option of getting a dish just to haggle prices over with.

If the Vikings could pile up nearly 500 yards against that blitzing defense, on the Saints home field, I have complete confidence Peyton Manning will have little problem moving the ball up and down the field today.

That being said, here is my final analysis on today’s event, then again with my sterling 2-8 record against the spread in this year’s playoffs who would wanna listen? First and foremost, the officiating in this years playoffs have been absolutely brutal, especially in terms of the QB’s. What you will see today is a concerted effort to protect the QB’s on both sides.....

The Dwight Freeney injury is a concern, but was so 2 weeks ago when the Jets put up 17 points in the first half and then got shut down in the 2nd half. Obviously the Saints offense is miles ahead of the Jets and will have mulitple opportunities to score....
If the Saints d wants to try to beat Peyton up like they did Farve, good luck. After the first 3 penalties for RTP, that stops then and there. If they want to blitz, they’re being set up for the expected aerial show cause everyone knows PM will not get sacked or hurried regularily. One other thing you won’t see, the Saints getting extra possessions from turnovers like the Vikings gave them 2 weeks ago. The Colts just don’t turn the ball over, PERIOD!!!
Like I said 2 weeks ago, I was never convinced that Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon were that DAMN good, but guess what? They are that DAMN GOOD!!! If that’s because of Peyton, so what? They’ve shown up bigtime in the spotlight in the playoffs and will again today.

I’m sticking to 34-27 as this will be a very entertaining game. I don’t see many turnovers in the game, maybe 3 between the 2 teams. I see the Colts being up 2 TD’s with the Saints scoring late in the game to make the final spread...

Well, did get about 4-5 minutes on the Colts. Took an earthquake to make it happen, however.

I’m a rookie to this, being from New Orleans, and my hands have been shaking all day and my stomach is in knots. I can’t stand the tension of waiting. I thought I’d be ecstatic if my team ever made the Super Bowl, but instead I can’t wait for this thing to be over.

Alas, no Eminence Front today...

The Who’s 12-minute performance will consist of a “compact medley” of five songs — Baba O’Riley, Pinball Wizard, Tommy, Who Are You, and Won’t Get Fooled Again.

And for today only, the band is know as The Who Dat

Your reaction is perfectly normal. At 10:30 tonight you'll either be in absolute ecstasy or misery. Hope that helps. :)

Is that a picture from the Dress Parade honoring the late Buddy Diliberto, who said he’d wear a dress and parade down the streets of N.O. if the Saints ever made it to the Super Bowl?

Do you haved a TV set that can pick up the game on local channels only? It’s being broadcast on CBS, so you may be able to pick it up on your local CBS affiliate.

From SpaceFlightNow.Com - things don't look so good weatherwise - you might be up late (or early) the next few nights:
1020 GMT (5:20 a.m. EST) The official weather forecast for Monday's 4:14 a.m. EST launch time calls for scattered-to-broken clouds at 3,000 feet, 7 miles of visibility, launch pad winds from the north-northwest at 340 degrees of 8 peaking to 12 knots and a temperature of 51 degrees F. There's a 40 percent chance that the clouds will form a low ceiling and prohibit launch.

For Tuesday's 3:51 a.m. EST launch time, meteorologists predict scattered-to-broken clouds at 3,000 feet, 7 miles of visibility, launch pad winds from the southeast at 130 degrees of 5 peaking to 8 knots and a temperature of 65 degrees F. The chance of low clouds being a problem is 40 percent once again.

Looking to Wednesday's 3:25 a.m. EST launch time, the weather worsens to 60 percent "no go." The forecast includes a chance of rain showers, scattered-to-broken clouds at 3,000 feet, 7 miles of visibility, launch pad winds from the west at 270 degrees of 18 peaking to 25 knots and a temperature of 60 degrees F.

My wife said the crowds were huge - much larger than normal - traffic very heavy - maybe because its the last scheduled night launch. The spaceflightnow offers great Twitter feeds so if you're out at the launch you can get regular updates - and maybe beat the traffic if there's a scrub ... ;-)
