Until she learns to use a Presidential aid like a Teleprompter, Sarah Palin simply is not ready for the Oval Office...;)

This may be the headline for the New York Times Monday! Obviously nothing more important going on in the world today than Sarah Palin making a quick look at some notes. All I can really say about this horrible situation is:

She shouldn’t write on her hands. She should carry a clipboard with a yellow legal pad on it. If asked about it she could respond, “Thomas Jefferson always kept punctilious notes, and you know the ol’ saying, ‘great minds think alike’. Now, do you have any relevant or intelligent questions?”

Maybe, Barry should look into this technique, but he will have to quit giving America the middle finger.

I've done that (notes on palm). If you are giving a really big speech (lots of people/lots of pressure) you can easily get "caught up" in the details of it and MISS THE MESSAGE. I used to pick THREE THINGS I wanted people to remember when they walked away. The way you do that is write them on your palm! As you make a point, and as they are cheering or clapping at a phrase, you make it a habit to look at the palm. OFTEN you can reiterate one of the THREE KEY POINTS to underline the thought you just gave. It is not only common practice for those of us who have used it, it is highly effective! That's why I was so tickled last night as the libs went ballistic on Twitter about it ... anyone who posted like that HAS NEVER SPOKEN BEFORE A CROWD effectively and a "palm note" is one FINE way to KEEP FOCUSED on what's important. I also like what she had on her palm ... Energy, Tax Cuts and Lift American Spirit. In her speech and her "interview" afterwards ... did she make those three points clear? Yes, I rest my case!
PS ... try it next time you go to a key meeting, or make even a little presentation ... you'll be amazed. Such a "mark" on the palm, is the mark of a professional trying to deliver "money's worth" to the audience.
