I don’t know about all that. I do know that down here in Texas, we are standing up derricks as fsat as we can. I haven’t been this busy in a while. I have been told 2011 is going to be the busiest we have seen a many years...
But we are drilling on private land.
Heck we have inexperienced people starting out around $70,000 a year.
There’s lots of oil in the USA. Even places you don’t think of as big oil producers have oil. Here in Michigan all 68 counties in the lower penninsula have oil. Granted its mostly low grade oil but it has its uses. Also there’s natural gas here too.
